Our employees have experience in everything from Aerospace manufacturing to Agricultural manufacturing, with over 80 plus years combined commercial and military aircraft experience. We work with customers from diverse industries including Medical, Aircraft, Sporting Goods, Public Transportation, Recreation and others.
Ted Skipper – Owner:

Before S3:
S3 Manufacturing was not yet conceived when Ted first went to work for Boeing of Portland as a machinist. He then shifted to the aircraft production and planning department at Boeing and was sent to Philadelphia, Pa., to help with the production of a new V22 Osprey tilt rotor helicopter. Upon completion of that project, Ted returned to Boeing of Portland as a computer programmer.
Start of S3:
In 2001 Ted Started S3 Manufacturing and began to purchase CNC Milling centers and CNC Turning centers. S3 Manufacturing has 10 + Employees and continues to grow into new markets each year. In spring of 2012 Ted completed his Master’s in Business Administration at Concordia University in Portland Oregon.

S3 Manufacturing has an additional 2000 square foot facility with 480/power, this building was built to house heavy CNC equipment with rebar reinforced Concrete floors just waiting for New CNC equipment. We could have this site up and running with New CNC’s with in 2-4 weeks before we are cutting parts!
